“ I first called this Safeway location to see if the item I needed was available. I spoke with Alice and she was super patient on the phone with me. She took the time to answer all of my questions and did not make me feel like I was a burden. The cashier Kevin was quick and efficient and the bagger Angel helped me bring my two large bags of Purina One dog food to my car. Ill be coming back to this Safeway location for the wonderful service! ”
“ Plenty of parking lot attendants and cameras its a very safe neighborhood location ”
“ Small store but it has everything. Great customer service. Excellent location. ”
“ The store is clean and tidy, although there are some narrow aisles. Here you can find almost everything in food and household items. I found the Caspers hot dogs. All good, Ill be back. ”
“ Good basic Safeway. On the smaller side but has good choices. Everything is clean and well stocked. Theyve had to put in more antitheft measures. Staff seem stressed... understandably. Im grateful its still going. ”
“ Never been to this one but its crazy that Ed Lee died in the ice cream aisle here ”
“ This store has the best, well stocked, fresh vegetables and fruits in the neighborhood. Even though the square footage of this store is not as large as other Safeway San Francisco neighborhood stores, it keeps their shelves well stocked throughout the day because the employees are so efficient at what they do. Ive always been so proud of the employees who work on the Monterey Boulevard location because, throughout the years, Ive seen how friendly, patient and kind to shoppers theyve always been. Thank you for finally giving me a chance to say how proud I am of your employees. You have no idea how incredible they are. Ive gone to many, many Safeway stores in San Francisco for the last 50 years and I must say that the Monterey Blvd location in San Francisco is more friendly and helpful than other Safeways in San Francisco or elsewhere in the bay area! ”
“ This safeway store is located in a pretty safe neighborhood, a smaller size compared to other locations but has all I need. staffs are diversed and friendly , thanks to Sally and everyone in the team. They assist me and always offer to bag and carry to the car. The stoer had tried to expand at this location, I know the neighbors were asking a lot of questions, but I do hope they could expand. As a lot of seniors in the area and many people rely on them. I want them to coexist in our neighborhood. ”
